Think About the Link Philadelphia Summit

On May 19, we partnered with the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, and FIGHT Philadelphia to host a Think About the Link Philadelphia Summit.  The goal of the Summit was to raise awareness and provide information about the link between hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and liver cancer.  A few of the speakers were Dr. Edith Mitchell, MD, FACP, Alex Sheriffs from the Philadelphia Health Department; and our own Catherine Freeland.  Councilman David Oh, a longtime supporter of our hepatitis awareness events, also presented us with a resolution letter marking May as Hepatitis Awareness Month in the city of Philadelphia.  Below are some of the day’s pictures:
