The 2013 American Public Health Association (APHA) annual conference will take place in Boston from November 2 to November 6. Hep B United Philadelphia’s very own Chari Cohen and Daniel Chen will be representing the Hepatitis B Foundation and presenting four posters and a oral presentation to inform the rest of the nation about our efforts, successes, and lessons learned here in Philadelphia. Many of our local partners are also listed as co-authors.
Additionally, Chari Cohen’s abstract “A picture of chronic hepatitis B infection among Asian and Pacific Islanders in Philadelphia” has won the Asian Pacifc Islander Caucus (APIC) Best Student Abstract award. Congratulations to Chari!
